Are you a dues paying, or life, member of the Libertarian Party?

Lifetime Member

What has your activism in the Libertarian Party been like?

Former candidate, multiple-time campaign manager, 4-time state chair, former LNC Region Rep, former LNC Vice Chair.  Served on multiple state and LNC committees.  LNC Ballot Access, Bylaws, Credentials, Convention Oversight, Information Technology,  etc.  Full LP resume here:  https://lp.moellman.com/my-resume/

Choose any case that the Judicial Committee has heard in the history of the Libertarian Party, most of which can be found here:  LPedia.

What is your opinion of the conclusions of the Judicial Committee in that case?

My favorite JC rulings are the ones that never happen. People should be encouraged to resolve things without the JC. Only when there is a dispute of actual consequence, in which timing dictates we cannot wait until the next national convention, should the JC be activated; serving the interests of the delegates between conventions when the are not assembled and do not have opportunity to speak.

Is there anything else that would make you a good member of the Judicial Committee?

If elected, I would like to ask the JC to offer the service of reviewing state party bylaws. This would be a voluntary service for the state affiliates for their members to consider potential amendments at their future conventions. Do something positive, rather than only being activated in unfortunate situations.
